Wow, the temperature dropped again on the way to work today. Yesterday was 40 today is -7 what in the world…is this Hoth or Iowa.

Saturday, January 19, 2008

Another cold day in Iowa but Amy's glue gun is hot. She decided to copy a design she found online. Saving us big money $$$ while keeping herself entertained : ) At this rate will be completely decorated for Easter in no time.

Sunday, January 13, 2008

Amy's nice Valentine's Day basket. We have to decorate our door now that Christmas is over. It's amazing what a trip to Micheal's and some hot glue can do when Amy's involved.

New Year's Eve party with the Edwards Family. Finally some more Oklahomans in Iowa. This state could use a little southern hospitality. Troy has his cheap pizza and a coke. He's definitely ready to party like its 1999.

Emma and her new best friend dressed in their best for New Years Eve. Now I know where Ethan got that Tiara.

Ethan's ready for New Years Eve with his buddies. I'm not sure where he got the Tiara? I'm busy eating our cheap Marco's Pizza for 6.99 not really sure if we'll be doing that again.
Our Christmas Eve...
Ethan opening his presents.
Ethan and his crazy smile. Not sure where he picked that up but its funny.

Ethan and his snowball

Ethan decided it would be fun to have a snow ball fight but Emma isn't so sure. Hopefully later today we can try and build a snow fort or something.

Emma in the snow

Emma decided it would be fun to try and eat some snow. I told her to only eat the fresh untouched snow. I'm not sure if she really liked it she looks so cold.

Snow shoveling....

I woke up this morning and guess what it snowed again, sigh. Guess I have to start shoveling. Amy and I decided this is crazy I'm getting a snow blower next year. The first few times shoveling I looked at it as good exercise but when it gets to be 4 - 5 times a week its just to tiring.

Frosty Looking Good

After hard day of work Amy and I decided the family needed to go out for a bite to eat. So we all piled into the VW and snapped a picture of Frosty as we pulled out of the driveway. Looking good Frosty, looking good.

Building Frosty Part 4 Finished

We finally finished up Frosty after hours of piling snow and smoothing.

Building Frosty Part 3

Amy decides we need to add a scarf. He's really begining to shape up now.

Building Frosty Part 2

The Frosty build continues with Ethan deciding we need more snow from the driveway.

Building Frosty Part 1

This is Frosty in the early stages right after I shaped him. Earlier in the day Amy saw the huge snow mound and thought I was crazy.
