More Snow...

We got another 6 inches of snow today! We have boxwoods in our front flower bed that are buried under all the snow! Ethan has been super excited about Valentine's Day, so I asked him why and he said, "because the snow will all melt away on Valentine's Day!" I think Ethan is going to be very disappointed! I wish it were true! Mario will have to snow shovel it again tonight...

Blizzard of 08!

We are forecasted to get 15 inches of snow today! Mario is going to be hurting tom. after we snow shovel our drive way. But it sure is a pretty snow.

The Bug Stuck in the Snow

I tried to pull in the driveway and got stuck! Rockwell shut down today because of all the crazy snow so now I get to shovel the bug out then finish the driveway. I've said this before but I'm getting a snow blower next year.

Emma in the Snow

Emma decided to pose in the snow.

Ethan and Chloe in the Snow

Ethan decided to race Chloe down the driveway.

Amy's big purchase!

Here's a picture of Amy's new sofa. There goes the rest of my contracting money :( Amy likes to remind me it's money well spent.

Chloe!

Here's a picture of Chloe our crazy miniature schnauzer. Can you believe Amy made me call and reserve her when we were looking for dogs…called and had me reserve her…..do you believe it. Amy hate’s it when I remind her about that ;)

Study: Before and After

It's been a slow process updating our study but it’s finally finished. It’s taken a little over a year of hard work and decorating as our budget would allow. When we purchased the house we thought the room was painted a solid white but we soon found out that it was in actuality white wall paper. I guess the previous owner had put it up to conceal the cracks in the old plaster walls:(

Work consisted of first stripping the whole room of wall paper. Then digging out the broken plaster and repairing the cracks with fiberglass mesh tape. Next we resurfaced all the walls, sanded, textured, primed and painted. Oh…then decorated Amy’s favorite part :)
